Peter was born and raised in North Vancouver enjoying every minute of his creative childhood amongst the rain forest of the North Shore. From the beginning Peter loved to make objects and was initially inspired by the amazing art produced by the many First Nations artists working in BC during the 1960's. Educated in Rochester, New York with Wendell Castle, the leading figure in contemporary studio furniture design, Peter has exhibited and taught internationally for almost 30 years. He returned to Vancouver in 2000 and continues to explore both furniture and sculpture in a personal and creative manner.
